About Us
The story of JE Cool Logistics began in 2016, when Errol February and Johan Dawid Smit first crossed paths — with Febs Transport acting as a subcontractor to the company Johan worked for at the time. A strong business relationship soon grew into a solid friendship, and by 2021 they decided to combine their strengths and launch JE Cool Logistics.
Starting with just one refrigerated truck (reefer), their vision was to build a specialized refrigerated logistics business. But it quickly became clear that the opportunity — and their ambition — stretched much further. Within a short time, JE Cool expanded to include reefers, tautliners, containers, and tippers, creating a multi-diverse logistics operation ready to meet clients’ evolving needs.
In 2024, JE Cool Logistics proudly finalized the acquisition of Febs Transport, bringing the story full circle and solidifying its growth trajectory.
Today, JE Cool continues to move forward with the same entrepreneurial spirit, focus, and customer-first approach that inspired its founding.
