Every great business starts with a vision, a spark, and a strong partnership. For JE Cool Logistics, that journey began in 2016 when Errol February and Johan Dawid Smit first crossed paths. What started as a simple subcontracting relationship soon grew into a strong friendship and, ultimately, a thriving business built on trust, ambition, and a customer-first mindset.

Our Story
In 2016, Febs Transport acted as a subcontractor for Johan’s company, laying the foundation for a professional relationship that would evolve into something much bigger. By 2021, Errol and Johan combined their strengths to launch JE Cool Logistics, starting with just one refrigerated truck (reefer). Their goal was simple yet ambitious: to create a specialized refrigerated logistics business.

It didn’t take long for their vision to expand. JE Cool Logistics quickly grew beyond reefers to include tautliners, containers, and tippers, forming a multi-diverse logistics operation capable of meeting the evolving needs of clients across Southern Africa.

In 2024, the company achieved a milestone by acquiring Febs Transport, bringing their journey full circle and reinforcing their growth trajectory. Today, JE Cool Logistics continues to move forward with the same entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and customer-first approach that inspired its founding.
